Who doesn't know them, the classic buttons with a protective Mylar film. This is to protect the motif on the buttons and magnets from dirt and to create a glossy finish. Mylar is therefore ideal for buttons that you want to make yourself. Mylar is easy to work with and is usually supplied ready-made to the button blanks. However, it also has some disadvantages that arise in daily use. The main disadvantages are:

That's why we at Button-King have developed the premium surface. This consists of a clear surface that is inseparably connected to the button motif in a thermal process. Button-King's premium surface is available in three styles and for almost all sizes and shapes of buttons and magnets. You can choose between:
The glossy version is most comparable to the classic Mylar film. However, it reflects significantly less and is less sensitive to scratches. The color brilliance is increased and unwanted reflections are reduced. This results in a significantly better readability of the buttons with a premium surface compared to buttons with a mylar surface. In addition, the motifs and logos on the buttons appear much more valuable.
The matte premium surface is almost completely non-reflective and has a very elegant matte look. It makes the buttons stand out clearly from their familiar glossy counterparts. The matte buttons are particularly suitable for anyone who loves an extravagant and eye-catching look.
Our Soft-Touch surface is the third premium surface. It has a matte look, but also offers a very special haptic experience. It is particularly soft and has a slightly velvety surface. This way, you get buttons and magnets that not only look good, but also feel good to the touch, guaranteeing positive attention.
In contrast to the use of Mylar, the edges of all Button-King premium surfaces are smooth. The premium surfaces ensure a high-quality appearance of the buttons and magnets. The matte surface and the soft-touch variant are available as options from one piece. The high-quality glossy premium surface is always included in the button price and available at no extra charge.
